    Here is the story of how the luminaries became our cherished holiday tradition around the pride of our town.

  • Restore the Wittlinger Project

    A group of local residents is dedicated to making improvements to the Wittlinger Nature Preserve. The restoration efforts, includes the removing invasive plant species and replacing them with native plants as well as making trail improvements.  This is a long-term project that will require the support and involvement of the community. To find out more or volunteer to help, click the button below.

  • Boiling Springs Historic Resources Inventory

    In 2021, South Middleton Township applied for a Keystone Historic Preservation Planning Grant to conduct a historic resources inventory within the Village of Boiling Springs Zoning District. This file contains the summary of that study.

  • F&M Bubble Study

    Over the past 10 years, our research team at Franklin and Marshall College has studied groundwater flow, regional tectonics, bedrock fracture patterns, and water quality associated with the spring seeps at Boiling Springs, PA. The largest of these springs, “The Bubble”, is the seventh largest discharging spring in the State.
