Our volunteers
The candles lit around the lake is a tradition that enchants the members of our community and also ones who come to visit our beautiful place. This cherished display would simply not be possible without the dedication of the over 100 volunteers who pitch in to make it happen every year. From scooping gravel into 320 plastic jars and perfectly spacing them apart to the candle storage and distribution to the families and groups who, year after year, light the candles in most any weather condition to make sure the spirit burns bright in our town, volunteers are our lifeblood. We are enormously lucky to have these people in our town and so very thankful for their hard work.
